I’m Adam Ford, AKA Adam4d (you say ‘Adam4d’ the same way you say ‘Adam Ford’ btw). I’m a Christian, husband, and father of 3 young boys.
Yes. In November 2014 I quit my job to create content full-time thanks to my Patreon supporters.
Thanks so much for asking. Becoming a supporter via my Patreon page is a great way to help me pay the bills. Or if you want to give a one-time donation, you can do that here.
As long as you’re not using them commercially (i.e. as long as you’re not selling them/putting them in something that’s being sold) or altering them, you’re free to use the content on this site for things like sermons, Bible studies, handouts, church bulletins, tracts, etc. No charge.
Sure, just link back to my site, please.
Yes. I have four rules about this: 1.) please don’t alter the comic at all, other than the text, 2.) please try to get the translation as close to the English as possible, 3.) please leave my web address on the translated version, and 4.) please don’t add any other web addresses or names to it.
I really prefer, also, if you’d provide a link on each translated comic to the original comic on my site. Lastly: very sorry but I can’t provide a list of fonts I use, because I use about a zillion of them. Just do your best 🙂
I use Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
My policy is to let my content speak for itself.
I could write an essay here, but suffice it to say that while I respect, love, and learn from many who hold to a “no images of Jesus” position, I cannot exegetically agree with their case. When I began drawing comics I looked deeply into this issue and landed in the same camp as Piper, Sproul, MacArthur, Keller, and so many others—images of Jesus do not violate the Second Commandment.
Nope, sorry.
Nope, sorry.
Absolutely not. I’m a poor sinner who fails all the time and needs God’s grace every second of every day. On this website I just try to articulate the truth. If I make a comic about a certain issue, that does not mean I’ve somehow reached super-Christian-perfection on that issue. Actually, some comics are inspired by my own failures and sin-struggles.
Sometimes. It has to be the right kind of situation. Email me if you’re interested.
Yep, you can follow me on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. I also have a newsletter which I rarely send.
Feel free to email me. I can’t reply to all the emails I get, but I do my best.
